Although it appears the production has been shot in the Middle East, it was in fact made at Terry Hills in Sydney Australia.

Sue is an Australian from Jordan and joined forces with Australian Director Terry Bourke of Little Boy Lost fame to make this film.

The film stars some well-known Australian actors, chief among them, Michael Pate. The Bedouin became Michael Pate's and Terry Bourke's last ever film.
